　討論者の中に、事実に基づいて日本の立場に言及しうるような人はいない。デニス・ハルピン、ミンディ・カトラーはいずれも、米下院の反日慰安婦決議を推進した中心人物である。

Please join USKI and Asia Policy Point for the book launch of Chinese Comfort Women: Testimonies from Imperial Japan's Sex Slaves, by Dr. Peipei Qiu. This book, the first English-language account of its kind, features the personal narratives of 12 Chinese women forced into sexual slavery when theJapanese military occupied their home towns. Dr. Qiu will discuss her research and findings regarding the injustices these women were subjected to during the Asia-Pacific War.

Following her remarks will be a paneldiscussion on the legacy of Comfort Women featuring Dr. Peipei Qiu, Mindy Kotler (Director, Asia Policy Point), and Dennis Halpin (Visiting Scholar,USKI), moderated by Jenny Town (Assistant Director, USKI).

A light lunch will be provided. Lunch available at 12pm, with program start at 12:30pm. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
